I’m a 30-something bi white married cis USAmerican woman (she/her). I swear, I read, and I write. I used to say I mostly write whump, but the last three stories I posted were smut, so, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This blog is dedicated to women and enby folks in speculative fiction and reality (because it seems like art about them gets reblogged less often than art about men). Nonbinary people are a diverse group seperate from women, and no, I don’t hate men. The title is a quote from Golden Son by Pierce Brown.

the concept art for queen breha organa is so breathtakingly melancholy - something about it just makes me want to cry but it’s also so pretty

another reason i love this piece is because, when the concept artist was drawing the sketches, he didn’t yet know who would be cast. george lucas only gave descriptors of character (like “brave”, “lovely”, and “trustworthy”) instead of detailed physical descriptions for the first few sketches
